Hot Air Ballooning at Pushkar Camel Fair!
In November during the full moon is the biggest of Rajasthan’s
numerous fairs. We are the pioneers who put the Pushkar
Camel Fair on the tourist map. This fair is held annually
during the autumn full moon. You may either go by private
AC saloon to Ajmer or drive from Jaipur.
The entire city is transformed into a fair-site; evenings
and nights and rhythms of dance. As the fair reaches
its climax, there are camels, horses and bullock-carts
races adding to the excitement.
This year we will offer opportunity to witness the spectacle
of the camel fair from above, in a Hot
Air Balloon. Flights are available for half-an-hour
to two hours depending on the programme, but, subject
to the wind conditions. (To be booked six weeks in advance.)
The official dates for the Pushkar Camel Fair are October
30, 2009 to November
2, 2009.
Ballooning can also be offered at other destinations
in Rajasthan such as Jaipur, on request.
